Passionate to the Sole Partners team is safe driving and motorsport. The company sponsors the Under Seventeen Car Club which aims to provide a safe driving environment for under seventeen’s to learn to drive. Many members then go on to succeed in the automotive industry, motorsport and driver training. The directors have advanced driving qualifications with RoSPA and IAM and regularly give of their time to further the cause of safe and better driving. Clive Marshall, director, and former chief instructor and racing line instructor at the Castle Combe venue for the Under Seventeen’s Car Club says, “ driving is cradle to grave stuff. Teach the individual the fundamental rules of safe and effective car control at an early age and that person is set for life. You can spot a ‘real’ driver the moment you sit next to him or her – the natural intuition oozes through.” “ The ‘L’ test is only the start, producing a raw product that then has to be tempered in the real world of driving on our roads.
